Parallel Capital was formed by Joe Kennedy and Damon Reynolds in early 2008 for the specific purpose of establishing an investment fund under the Early Stage Venture Capital limited Partnership (ESVCLP) structure administered by Innovation Australia.

After completing our capital raising in a difficult economic environment, Parallel Capital applied for and was subsequently awarded the first unconditional registration as an ESVCLP by Innovation Australia in October 2008.
